By streamlining city safety management and implementing modern video surveillance systems, the project significantly reduced incidents of vandalism and crime.Faster response to failures and threats helped minimize the impact of hazardous events.
Due to the reduced response time to failures and threats, as well as improved work of personnel operating the monitoring system, it was possible to identify and resolve potential problems faster, which consequently supports the overall improvement of safety for the residents of Sieradz.
Enhancements in the city’s safety strategy, such as the introduction of traffic limitations and infrastructure adjustments, supported more efficient handling of emergency scenarios.
During project implementation, we faced numerous technical and procedural challenges. One of the biggest was designing and securing all necessary permits for installing surveillance points and running new cabling across areas under heritage protection and those managed by multiple road authorities.
